Sheldon Krancher
Founder of Aligner Integration. Sheldon has spent his career at the meeting point of dental education and the clear aligner industry, and now teaches practice teams how to make aligner care part of everyday practice.
From continuing education to the aligner industry
Sheldon entered dentistry in 1995 in the continuing education department at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Education has remained at the heart of his work since.
In 2007 he began working with Align Technology, spending time across the United States, United Kingdom, and European markets. In 2012 he helped launch a global clear aligner treatment planning company, and he has since worked closely with aligner providers, practices, and DSOs around the world.
Aligner Integration brings that experience back to the practice team: the people who answer the phone, take the records, explain the findings, and guide the patient's decision.
What Sheldon believes
- Start with why. A team that shares a purpose works together better than a team following a script.
- Educate, do not sell. Patients deserve to see and understand their own findings and options.
- It takes a team. Every role, from front desk to doctor, shapes the patient's experience.
- Not now does not mean never. Respectful, consistent follow up serves patients who need time.
